Well, I don't think there is any need to be flying to the coast. I would gladly give you a ride here in Indianapolis (2 to 2 1/2 hours from you) but I KNOW there are a number of SPF owners in your back yard. With your permission, I will be glad to take your request to the SPF forum and see if I can get a response from a Chicagoland owner. The dealer for your (our) area is Dynamic in Ross Ohio (a suburb of Cincinnati just north of the 275 loop) near I-275 and Ohio Rt 4. There, you could drive every engine combination, see how they are put together and talk to some of the people from South Africa who have been involved with SPF from the beginning and brought the cars to the states. It would be a great history lesson as well as a peek into the future. They are about 4 hours drive time away from you which make them relatively convenient to reach for warranty work if needed. They (The Rosens) are fabulous people to work with. The number there is 513-738-5000 (I think --- didn't look it up). There are a lot of benefits to owning a SPF (other than the fine quality of the car itself) that you may want to consider. There are a lot of fine manufacturers out there to service many different "niches" of the market. If you know what you want from your car, then finding the right company will be easy.
