I spoke to Bill Parham of Southern Automotive about 5 years ago when I bought my Superformance. At the time, he had two or three in stock going for 25K apiece, and he strongly advised against buying one when I told him how I wanted to use my car.
But for bragging rights, it's hard to beat seeing one of those rare behemoths in an engine bay.
