That would be your fault for bidding and not understanding what you're bidding on. When you could have taken the time read the ad and noticed it states it is Superformance. This guy means no harm, no misrepresentation. He's just smart. I've used the Shelby category twice selling "Cobras", uh, I mean little cars with sidepipes and big fenders and no top. If I were to list my car today, I'd use it again.

I think the little point Real 1, Evan, is trying to make is a simple one that took a bit to understand. Do we use the Shelby name for added value? Sure, maybe not for cash value but status value. Should a car built today by a Shelby company add value? Sure, I bet if Shelby American developed and built my BDR to the exact specs it is now it would be worth a good percentage more than it is now. I can agree with using the Shelby name for added value whether status or cash. What I don't believe is someone paying a higher dollar amount b/c of what category it's in. Kinda boils down to the guy on Ebay has nothing to do with the point here. I can almost guarantee that 95% of the people that go to the "Shelby" category on Ebay are looking for a Replica.
By the way, my car has absolutely no badges of Shelby or Cobra on it anywhere and at car shows people tell me, nice Cobra! Hope that's not my fault too.
