This past weekend I took the Cobra and parked it on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and let the passersby have their picture taken with the Cobra. One of the salesmen at one of the businesses has witnessed this for quite a few weekends, and said that my Cobra is "probably the most-photographed Cobra in the world".

Not bustin' your chops here, but are you saying you drive your Cobra to Rodeo Drive regularly to "let the passerby have their picture taken with the Cobra"? Interesting life you lead

Every time I roll her out in the drive to clean her up...I meet new people.

Yesterday met a new neighbor in my hood who has a Ford GT in the garage with a FFR under construction.

Proves Aluminum (not just Steel) is capable of magnetic attraction.

We have lived in our current house for a little over 2 years and still had not met a bunch of the neighbors. Since I got my Cobra in July, we have met nearly all of them.

There seems to be a constant pilgrimage to our garage whenever they hear the car in the neighborhood. There is no "short" car project because they always involve 30 min of telling the neighbors about it or hearing the stories of how they had my car on their wall when they were a kid.....

I will have over 80,000 miles on my Cobra by the first of the year, in less than 8 years of ownership. For ME, much of the enjoyment of Cobra ownership is seeing how the general public reacts with/to the Cobra.

We happened to have a very rare warm weekend for this time of year. I took the cobra out for a ride to Misquamicut Beach R.I. As its off season, there weren't many people around. As I came to the corner of Atlantic ave., a Local bar was open with the parking lot loaded with motorcycles. Guys came pouring out of the corner doors beers in raised hands hooting and hollering. With no pedestrians around, I provided them with a nice 1st-2nd show. Nice early start to a summer of fun.

RET_COP - You brought back some memories for me of the good old days in
the 60's when Misquamicut along with Narragansett were my old bar running
days with many good times there. Too bad I didn't have a Cobra then but I
never would have survived it! LOL

Flip, I did the same thing in the 70s. I went from Misquamicut Beach to Scarborough Beach having fun and looking for girls. It was a right of passage for us local guys. We have a cruise night at the Windjammer on Thursday evenings in the Summer. Cruises also at Ocean Beach New London CT. Monday evenings, Oakland Beach Warwick R.I. Tuesday evenings, Foxwoods Casino on Wednesday evenings, just to name a few.
