Default PS 17" pin drives/ Kirkham

Does anyone know the maximum width 17" tire and PS rim backset for a Kirkham 427? Thanks, Al

Hmmm,

Has anyone ever put 17" wheels on a Kirkham?

Default 17" over vintage on a KMP?

Dont think so!
The geo/susp/looks, and a lot of other features do not support them.
grumpy

ps: Al, check toxins note, wondered when someone would comment, the key, they will let you know when they start the breakaway in the turns, I found 17's just do it, not sign of going, going, tulies!

Default PS pindrives/ Kirkham

Grumpy, I more than agree with you about the looks of 15"vs 17". I already have 15" and want to get 17" for track use. Thanks, Al

Depending on which style wheel you go with the rim widths & backspaces may be different. When you get the allowable specs for tire size & back spacing talk to Phil at PS. He will let you know what he can do.

Get another set of 15s and put Goodyear slicks on them.

runn'n a second set of 15s with slicks is a good alternative. I've got a set of 17s for my SPF and they work great. You can always contact PS Eng and they will help you decide if they can build you a set to work on your car. Good Luck....hope it works
