My Invincashield has been through the Spring Fling and several cruises since I installed it in the Spring and not one stone chip. Yes, the edge is visible if you're looking for it or happen to catch the light just right, but the line is nothing when compared to chipped paint.
One thing to watch out for is not to wax over the edges of the Invincashield. The hard-to-see line is now very visible on a dark finish with a wax that leaves a white residue. It's a bear to remove even with a toothbrush.
