And you guys think you have a problem naming just one car?
How about me? You can't just name one, without hurting the feelings of the other 300 or so.
Then there are the customer's cars. They come in for repairs, we don't know their names. Some we do. They keep coming back over and over and over, we are now on first name basis.
One of those cars, just last week accused one of my technicians of car-abuse. We still have to go to court over that one.
It is very impersonal, but what we found that works pretty efficiently is numbering them. Yes, numbering them. We give them stock numbers. It works and keeps the emotion out of it.
It may not work for those who have only one car or two.
