SPF Roadster questions
Hi all,
I'm trying to put together a spreadsheet showing the standard features and options (w/ pricing) of some of the available rollers. I need to know if the SPF's have powder coated frames, Fabric or vinyl soft tops and what type of cooling fan set-up is standard. Any helpwould be appreciated.
Thanks,
QZ

the most complete way to help your decision is to closely examine the SPF website, and contact one of the dealers for one of their packets. As to your specific questions, the frames are urethane, not powdercoated, as the latter may chip and rust underneath, while the former can be touched uup. The newer cars come with nice three-bar fabric tops, with rear windows that zip down.
Wilwood four piston brakes each wheel, ducted twin fan aluminum radiators, and so forth.
If you have any other specific questions, call your nearest dealer, or ask here. Your nearest dealer will answer if you call
1800-29SNAKE, i believe.
My SPF has over 65K miles on it. Tuff as nails.
Needs to be, i beat on it every day.

Hal,
Thanks for the info. I've already received the brochure (very nice BTW). Just wanted some clarification from some owners.

One thing to note for your comparison, the SPF seats are not vinyl or fabric they are extremely high quality German leather.

The new soft tops are a very durable canvas material similar to those found on BMW and Mercedes convertibles.
