Not that I feel ashamed of having worked hard and got on, nor of having saved enough pennies and gone without other things for such a toy, I just feel it could be not in the best interests of employee relations.

Of course, there is a converse argument that people may feel better working for someone who is demonstrably succesful? Who knows.

Well said! That's exactly how I feel....I really wouldn't want to flaunt my good fortune. There is just too much downside vs. the upside.

Tom made a very good point above. If you teach automotive specialties for a living, then the Cobra platform makes for an "exciting" opportunity for the students.
