95 Cobra H.O. Engine Bore What would you do?

Recently I bought a 95 cobra with 140,000 miles with intention of rebuilding the engine with all performance parts without a supercharger. Since im spending the money to get it rebuilt i figured id go all out. What is the next bore up from a 302 that will give me the most power for my money without overduing it, any suggestions? thanks a lot, you guys really help!

Late model 5 liter blocks have quite thin cylinder walls so you can't go huge on an overbore. +0.030" is normally the most you would want to go. Another thing which seems to be very important with the thin wall block is to use a torque plate when the cylinders are honed. When using the torque plate make sure to use the same fasteners (bolts or studs) and the same torques that you will use on the finished motor. This simulates the cylinder wall distortion and will make sure the cylinders are as round and true as possible on the completed motor. If you haven't checked the block yet you may be surprised. My 150,000 mile block really only needed a hone and new rings the bores were in such good shape. I had already bought a 0.030" over stroker kit so I bored it anyway but you may want to check it first.
