I don't think Ole Shell has the facts either or has forgotten them.

Hmmm, wonder what those surveys are for..

Interesting interview, to say the least!

That was a fun "blast from the past," but missing from the whole "Cobra Tax" concept was the royalty portion that Carroll was planning to forward on to Dearborn, MI.
Henry Ford Jr. was on a mission to beat (punish?) Enzo Ferrari and funded the deal far beyond any rational explanation. (Access to Ford's parts bins, "special" production runs and engineering brain trust were probably every bit as valuable as the cash.) No doubt that Shelby was the right guy in the right place at the right time; but as the saying goes "no bucks, no Buck Rodgers!" It's too bad the various lawsuits induced the "institutional alzheimers" into the discussion. They were a pretty good team.

Hmmm....

Just wanted to see who would dig up a thread that ended OVER TWO FREEKING YEARS AGO!

I have often thought of doing a "Oldies but Goodies" thread.

Bring back some of the old but more memorable threads from the past. I was thinking they must be a tleast two years old, have at least 30 posts and 1000 viewings. it would also helpf if it didn't have too much controversy and was an amusing thread.
This is NOT one of those threads.
