Never cared for horses much. Grew up in Virginia, REAL horse country. Took up dirt bikes instead.

Thanks for the invite though.

Nuke427: What I said was that the CSX shouldn't be compared in the replica category since its a genuine Cobra. That doesn't make it better or worse its just that its different in that regard. I've tried to make my point clear. It routinely gets twisted.

If you're definition of Cobra replica is stuck on all that which is not a CSX2XXX or CSX3XXX then include the CSX4XXX in the comparison of replicas. Fine. I understand that around here many who don't have a CSX will continue take the position that if its not "made in the 60's its not REAL". Thats fine and I never expect that to change that around here. Thats not factually and legally correct nor does it agree with SAAC's definition but, around here I understand why its stuck there.

If your definition of "Cobra replica" is everything which isn't a genuine Cobra not having its origin with Shelby and Shelby American and you can follow the concept and the fact that there are now original Cobra and the Continuation series of Cobras the new CSX doesn't belong in the replica comparison. For better or worse.

Would the Continuation series Cobras have been any more a Cobra if they were made by SAI in the 60's, like say 1969 or early 70's after a short stop in Cobra production in 1968? So the gap in production was a little longer starting in the 1990s. Whats the difference? To me none. The first and second series are nearly identical in every respect and the only thing that separates them is when they were made and the hands that fabricated them and the method of fabrication as the new Cobras benefit from modern production techniques and materials. The difference separates them as to original and non original but not as to being a geniune Cobra.

If Shelby American produced it and it legally has the right to wear and carry the Cobra name and logo its a Cobra. When doesn't matter it that regard.

In the end my car cannot be a replica of a Shelby Cobra if it is a Shelby Cobra. Thats all I'm saying. I'm not saying this to elevate myself or my car above anyone or anything nor trying to impress. I'm just pointing to the facts and what the CSX is. If it makes some feel that means I'm sayng "mine is better than yours" I can't help that eventhough thats not at all what I'm saying. But when guys here or anywhere say the CSX is just a replica thats the equivilent of saying its not entitled to be recognized as what it is. In response I'll just politely point to the facts and if they take that response as saying mine is better than theirs then all I can say to them is TS.

I hope this clarifies things.
