Cobra challenge -- find the differences between these two Cobras
Several are easy. I think two are tough... See how many you can find.
Ben
P.S. -- Nice car & great photo. (not mine)

True007 found:
sidewalls
sidepipes
rollbar
license plate
rearview mirror
I'll add:
Trunk lid "point" is gone in #2
One exposed trunk hinge appears to be missing
Nice idea. I also really enjoy the "identify the mystery Cobra" posts. Anyone got pics of a Cobra they challenge people to identify? (except Brent, of course! ) That tells if we can really spot the visible variations from one manufacturer to the next.

Same car, same picture, same take, just touched up with some items or features altered, removed, or added.

One has a small block, the other does not.
Compression in No. 3 cylinder on the top one is a little low.
How did I do?

I think it's obvious to all that it's the same car - just a fun exercise to spot the differences.
Pretty good Turk, but how could you miss the blue anodized brake hose fittings on the second car?

Funny guys (esp Rick).
You've got 'em all except one. Well, actually two, but I'll count "license plate" as one -- it has different numbers and letters AND a different colored renewal tag (upper right).
But there is still one more thing. It's the hardest one of 'em all to figure out. Pretty subtle. Here's your hint -- the original photo (top) is a Factory Five car.

Oh yes -- Turk -- you're right of course. ;-) Funny.
Well, Buzz wins the prize. Darn you're good man. Yup -- less perky butt. And if you're not a regular reader of the ffcobra forum, I'm here to tell you some clever folks over there ("FordFun" was the first, I believe) have actually figured out a way to drop the "perkiness" by changing the body mounting points. So you could make a car to look like the bottom photo. Just add Mike Mack's trunk lid (or SRP could make you one like that), and you'd have a lot of people scratching their head. Now just add a slightly shorter, smaller diameter roll bar and...
Geez, I spend way too much time thinking about this stuff. LOL.
Thanks for playing. I'll have to make a it a little harder next time!

Reflexion of the sidepipe on the body. I'll take the "Booby" prize. Two to be exact.

I am convinced this is same picture, just altered, not two different cars. Note that the a number of items are exactly the same: Steering wheel in exact same position, same with the valve stem on front wheel, shadowing all around the car the same. Reflection of shiny side pipe on body is the same, even though second picture has black side pipes. Clue is that the original picture, top one, is sharper and the altered one is dim, result of editing and probably intentional screening to hid changes. That is my guess.

Bill, you are right. I was just trying to see if people could identify what had been changed. All in fun...

I think turk is right.
BTW #4 plug is fouled and the right front tire is low on the second one.

OK, since my excellent visual and analysis capabilities have once again proven themselves, and I win, where is my prize? Which one of the two cars did I win? I will accept either one.

Bill:
Since, as Turk pointed out, the compression in #3 cyl. on the top one is low I'd take the bottom one if I were you.
