Street use and show use are synomous in most cases.

750hp is just not needed on the street. But then again neither is 500hp. Its just that at a certain point its just bragging rights. I agree.

As to frivilous lawsuits, fact is thats the party line propaganda from the insurance industry. Today because of non sense propaganda like the forgoing from the insurance industry most people today have the immediate reaction that as long as its not their lawsuit as plaintiff they are all frivilous, right? Its only when you have a claim its meritourious.

Most lawsuits are not frivilous. Frivilous claim means having no basis in law or fact to assert the claim or defense or to argue a reasonable extension of existing law. There are laws in N.J. which impose penalties for frivilious lawsuits or defenses. No one looks to be penalized for violating the Frivilous law statute. Frivilous cases are a waste of time and money. Most attorneys look to avoid wasting time and money.

Are there ridiculous lawsuits. Yeah. But they are such a minority its comical. They get the notority because of their silliness and because "Big Business" looks to capitalize on the propaganda opprotunity against "All these frivilous lawsuits".

Mr. Gagnard: What were all the "facts" in the death case you mention. It was "frivilous" to sue the owner of the car that collided with car in which the decedent was a passenger? Really? Thats amazing you could conclude the other driver had no resonsibilty without discovery. Did the "at fault driver" or his lawyer admit to 100% responsibilty? Did his insurance coompany admit to 100% liability? Unless discovery was already completed with all sworn testimony of all witnesses to the accident and operators completed indicating that the other driver could not reasonably be found by a jury to be in any degree at fault for the collision and or the "at fault driver agreed not to crossclaim or seek to blame the other driver in part for what happened I would have sued all operators and owner involved in a heartbeat.

A girl is killed in an automobile accident and you expect attorneys to make determinations as to fault before all the facts are discovered? Come on.
