Default Aluminum brake line adapter - safe?

When I received my stainless brake lines for the front calipers, they came with a 90 degree adapter with 1/8" NPT into the Wilwood caliper and inverted flare on the other end to mate to the rigid steel brake line. I subsequently realized that 90 degrees was not going to work, so I bought a straight adapter locally, but this one was aluminum instead of steel. Now I'm wondering if aluminum is safe to use. I expect to spend some time at Willow Springs, so these calipers will see some heat. Any thoughts?

I bet your calipers are made out of aluminum.

I thought of that too, but you never know, someone on the board might have knowledge that I don't. The calipers aren't even Billet, they're Wilwood 4 piston cast aluminum Superlights. It's easier to ask the question now than wonder about it going into turn 8 at Willow.

The pucker factor for Turn 8 can be very high. For me starring at the end of the pit wall coming out of turn 9 is what gets my attention the most. Those two turns (really one big, high speed sweeper) have made me think more about car safety than anything else. Funny how things such as "is the seat really bolted down?" become much more important.
