The better thing to do would be to install a 63-67 corvette body on a 68-82 chassis , at least that way there is an upside and the car would drive better. ....IMHO.

I miss my 67 Sting Ray . ...but not that much.

I have a 1980 with L82 that I was going to convert to a roadster, removed roof, replaced rear deck/deck lid etc. I lifted body off frame to go through frame (refinish/bushings/brake lines and so on) as car sat for 20 plus years, anyway long story short it is better for me to start with a blank slate with regard to the body (Vette int and wiring are trashed) and the Cobra style is The Roadster
