Report from Barrett-Jackson Auction

I spent the day at the Barrett Jackson auction today down in Scottsdale. Some of you may be watching it on Speedvision. There were at least three nicely finished Shelby 4xxx cars getting ready for the block. It will be interesting to see what they bring.

I also saw Mr. Shelby there, with a bag of pens signing everything in sight. I asked him to sign my forehead, but he said I needed to let it rust a little in the rain first.

Shelby had a number of cars there, and two nicely fitted aluminum blocks on display. Those Kirkham bodies sure are pretty.
