Mid-80's Replica

Back in the mid-80's someone from California went to New Zealand and took their Cobra with them. Does any one know, or remember, a person doing this ? I remember it being blue. Don't know if it was a replica or original.

They set up a pizza business in the Nelson area (top of the South Island) and I used to stop by and get a pizza just about every day. In the late 80's the business had moved on to parts unknown ....

He did make a great pizza - wood fired oven and all that.

Now that I'm here in the US and getting a car I was just wondering if that person was here, or known of, or if anyone knew him.

I was just a teenager at the time and didn't really appreciate just what it was that I was looking when I'd see his car.
