No, most of the Redwood trees are used as decking, patio furnature, and such for homes in the So Cal, region. BTW nearly all of the Redwood that is cut comes from PRIVATELY owned land.

Thumbs up Geeeezzzzz!!!!!!!!!

Hi Gang!

I go to bed thinking the worst is over and then wake up to this mess. Never in the history of CC has it been sooooo much fun to hijack a thread. My deepest apologies to Mike, but in true American "I'm not responsible for anything" style, I will blame it all on Potato. LOL

Ed R: It's obvious you have been infected/possessed with a most serious case of Potatoitis Nonsensicus. Don't laugh, unless treated by a specialist, you may never again be able to write a coherent sentence. Drive your Cobra to the nearest MacDonald's. Ask the for the SENIOR fry guy or one of the 14 Asst. Manager's Assistant's Assistants (no, a grill person will not work). Tell the fry guy that you have been infected/possessed and that you need a second level exorcism WITH ketchup and a rubdown/blessing with holy Kroc salt. He will know what to do. LMAO

Turk: While you may call Mr. Potato "mashed", I'll just call him "smashed". BTW, everyone knows iodine solidifies when exposed to the meaning of life. Real meaning of lifers use peroxide mixed with green bananas.

Potato: I am in the process of wiring $45,000 to the Kirkhams. I seem to be having trouble getting my fax machine to send $100 bills (they keep getting jammed). As soon as I get this problem worked out, you can go pick up your roller in Provo. Enjoy!

This is just too much fun. I have to go take my medication now.

With Luv to All (A BIG CC group hug)!

ROTFLMAO

Default Sorry Mike!

Mike:

I'm really am sorry about your thread taking these unexpected turns. After all the threads here at CC where the writers take themselves and the topic much too serious, this kind of creative nonsense is a pleasant diversion.

Thanks for taking the time to start this thread. I haven't the slightest idea where it's headed though. Maybe, we'll wait and see if Potato can get his roller from the Kirkhams.

I think we need Freddie to interpret what Mr Potato is saying.

Can you imagine a conversation between those two?

Potato is using an encryption method developed by the military many years ago. I don't remember the name, but I do remember the initials. LSD. I am suprised the 'trip' to pick up his car only lasts two hours.

Maybe we should give him the benifit of the doubt. I have a friend that is gifted mechanically, but couldn't type a sentence that made sense to save his life.

It seperates the left from the right.
I will send a courier over to handle the cash.
I sorry Im so incoherent I get that alot. When you talk fast this happens. Its been funny!Im also running for president !My campain slogan is (a cobra in every driveway)!Just to drive the price down so I can get one.
Redwoods!I had a guy brag about his fine 8x8 redwood posts in his back deck . Magnificent stuff!.Rather than say how nice it looked,or the way they were so smooth. He said proudly YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THESE COST?I said yeah I do. 2 spotted owl families!I guess its either drive your cobra down past the stumps or into the forest.Right or left.
How many acres does it take to raise one human child? Answer! All of them!
By the way! I spent many years working on cat truck engines.Mostly 3406 and 3408s.And If I may say, I was damned good at it.Im not your english teacher!Sorry!

Talking How many acres it takes.....

To raise my three kids, put them through college and pay for my wifes Nordstrom habit, somewhere around 800 acres a year.

BTW, more protected birds are killed by windmills than all of the so called extraction industries combined.

I dont dought the thing about the windmills. They are only there to get us more power. The only way to shut up a selfish person is to give him what he thinks he wants.I wouldnt want any rules apllied to hobby cars. They might make you put air bags in your cobras.I have no such rules to live by on my 65 falcon. And I dont want to be told I have to retrofit would be the point.
800 acres x5,000,000,000.Is equal to three worlds.per year x life time equals????????.We better make more walmart stores.
Buy american lumber in thirty years when it grows up big enough to make good wood.In the mean time lets go clean off Canada and replant it.Im sure that most timber workers only make enough money to buy a ford focus. And a worn out pickup.

Talking LMAO (again)

Potato:

How come you didn't tell us you are a math whiz? All this time we thought you were a BYU journalism and English major.

Scott:

(LMAO) What kind of worn out pickup do you drive and how do you like your Ford Focus?

Turk:

We now have insight into the meaning of life........build more Walmart stores. Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

Now I see (most comments) are just like to teasing dogs through the fence.Fine bunch you are.Im sorry I tried to say something.Better to leave the gate closed and tease the dogs so you cant get bitten. That way nothing is done. With that kind of attitude the greenies will win and you will be standing with a bunch of smart a$$ joking buddies wondering what happened. There are probably greenie people out there right now trying to stop your hobby. And all you can laugh at someone from Utah.Lets all just get up waste the enviroment. That way the hobby will be dead in our life time. And I was waiting for the price to go down. Now all hope is going away.

Unhappy Hey Potato..........

Potato:

Don't take anything I write too seriously. You're probably a great guy who obviously has some strong feelings when it comes to the environment. But, don't be surprised when you get teased here at CC. Nothing is sacred and it's usually meant to be good natured teasing, like sitting around a table at the local bar with your buddies. When you to tell others that they can only afford old trucks and minicars, don't be surprised if someone fires back.

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. Your posts are like sunshine on a cloudy winter day and are always welcome.

all I own are old gasholes anyway. The best (most fun)is an old beat to hell 50 ford pickup with a 392 hemi.It was fun to race corvettes through the intersections. They didnt win! When you get pulled over by the cops and they ask you show them your engine, before you get the ticket .something is right.!!!!!
Im going to go tease bible thummpers now.
Think about next time you pick up an english book and say gee there was a hotrod magazine down there. Sept 2002 hotrod Shelby's own1300 hp ford FE.. Even I can read that short thing. The green point!!!!!!!!!

Cool Hey Scott, Have Her Look at This!

Show her this and let her see what's she's missing.

Lexus owners, look what you could have had. Two, may be three of these babies for the same price.
