Recently, a nice article appeared in Car and Driver regarding kit and replica cars and the issues we can face in registration here in the USA.

The various states are grouped into three overall categories with Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, North Dakota and Utah being the most difficult or rigorous states to secure a registration.
