Default Superformance Owners - Your cars are needed on T.V.!!!

I just received this invitation and was asked to pass it along...

Apparently the hosts of the Dream Car Garage read their own mail and respond to it. Pretty rare and refreshing in this day and age of publicists and assistants doing everything for TV personalities.

They have received an overwhelming amount of mail from Cobra fans congratulating them on showcasing this series. Now Dream Car Garage is asking any and all Superformance owners to send in three photos of their Superformance's to be showcased in a gallery on their site, as well as possibly featured on future episodes of their television show.

---------------------------------------------

This message was sent by Tom Hnatiw, co-host of the Dream Car Garage television show;

http://www.dreamcargarage.com/moment...&kw=moment_tom

I can't tell you how good it feels to open the morning e-mail and read something
other than, "When will there be some new shows?"

As I sit and write the new season has begun (as of 8:30 PST Wednesday night).

The flood of e-mails which I received through the website was nearly
overwhelming. It's fantastic that a low production car such as the Cobra has
touched so many people over the last forty years. I was twenty when I saw my
first Cobra on the street and then I didn't see another for eight or nine years.
Many of you told me about the first time your saw/drove/raced or crashed one.

I can remember LeMans winner Bill Cooper telling me about driving a 289 Cobra on
the street in California during the late sixties. "I'd often just leave the
slicks on and drive home along the back roads going as fast as I did at Riverside!"

I've received many, many e-mails from SuperFormance owners who are excited about
the feature on the Mk lll. Here's a rally cry to all of the SuperFormance family.

I want a picture of your car! In fact I would like up to three pictures of your
car including at least one with an appropriate caption. Perhaps we'll make a
gallery of them to share with the rest of the subscribers to the Dream Car
Garage Owner's Manual. Perhaps we'll use them on the show. Perhaps I'll just
take all of the great ones and make a photo album called "Do You NEED 500 cars
like this?"

Many have written to us about our Goodmark Nova project. In fact over forty of
our viewers have written to us telling us about their own Nova and what makes it
cool.

So while we're at it, send us your NOVA pictures too! You never know where they
may end up but we promise we'll share them with all of our subscribers.

And for the Enzo fans: Just to let you know. Yes it really is that good. And
yes. You want a car like this.

What a great community. Already the Dream Car Garage Owner's Manual group is the
size of a good sized prairie town and well on it's way to becoming a small city.

I want to thank every one as a group who has written to us with encouragement
and enthusiasm over the last fifteen hours. There is so many, I don't know if
I'll ever get caught up enough to thank you all individually.

But we'll sure give it a try.

Tom Hnatiw

ADDRESS TO SEND YOUR PHOTOS!!!

The SPF was delivered by Performance Engineering about an hour ago. As soon as I get this grin off my face, I'll email a few photos.

Thanks for the heads up!

Default Dream Car Mail Box Full...

I've been informed that the Dream Car Garage mail box is plum full only two hours after this post was first made!

I guess there are a lot of Superfolks who sent in a lot of their Superformance photos! lol.

You might want to hold on send yours until a few days have passed for them to dig out from the Mark-III Monsoon!

This is SO cool!!!

Reading up on what is coming on DCG ( see http://www.dreamcargarage.com/schedule.htm ), we will not only see allot of our cars, but also where and how they are built.

From the little I have seen in literature, it’s amazing all the technology and modern manufacturing practices employed at Superformance… With Superformance being nearly 100% self contained in the manufacture of their cars, it’s almost a throw back to what Henry Ford tried to do many moons ago, only now with modern CNC, CAD/CAM and on and on. And now to be able to get a tour!!! What a treat!!

BIG thanks to DCG….

Craig

Default Dream Car Garage open once again!

Early Monday morning after wading through a flood of Superformance photos they have cleaned out their mail trough and once again are accepting and WANTING your Superformance photos to be sent to them!

Remember, these are real "car guys", so they must be like kids at Christmas going through all the beautiful cars they are getting!

So if you sent your in and got a returned mail notification, the best times to resubmit your photos would be early in the day when they have cleared and saved the previous day's mail.

Default Dream Car Garage mail box again ready!!!

The boys at the DCG got their mail sorted out and NOW they want MORE!!!!

Tom said they received a garage full of excellent photos and stories from Superformance owners, but they just don't want a few hundred... they want ALL of them! All 2,000+ cars if they can! lol.

There will be a dedicated SPF only gallery on their website to list them all. A suggestion of including special shots the the engine would really stand out on their site. Unique under shots of the near show-car suspension and frames as suplied from the factory would also be appreciated as well as the interiors, nitrous bottles in the trunk, brake systems with the wheels off... be creative!

To create some form of organized chaos surrounding this, I suggest EVEN chassis numbered car owners send in their photos and story on EVEN numbered days. For instance chassis number 2655 would be sent in on the 25th or the 27th while 2710 would be sent in on the 26th or the 28th.

If you sent your's in last week it may have spilled over their mailbox limit, so if you do not see it on their site, resend it again and be patient. It will be a while before they get this section up.

Send you photos and story to...

website@dreamcargarage.com

Default I think I'm in!

Randall,
I have sent them three pictures of #586 and I haven't had any bounced yet, so I think I am in the mix.
