Magnum 500 Wheel refurb

Has anyone done a refurb/restore job on Magnum 500 rims?

I found that Eastwood has a "kit" with paint and stencils... has anyone used it?

Did you strip the paint entirely? ..using what?

Any and all tips appreciated.
