It looks too good to be true. And calling it Riverside is sort of breaching unto the historical significance of the orginal track. Why can't we have this here in So Cal?

Any update of delivery of your new car?
Where is it being built?

Speedy
I am sure if they could have gotten Riverside in So Cal they would have. It is still a neat-o idea. I am sure it will attract a lot of vintage hoop-la

This is kind of like a Mall for gearheads. Almost any type of racing you could want.

Nice

This has been under discussion on Atlas F1 for a long time. More power to 'em. If I could build a recreation of Riverside on my own property, hell, I'd do it, too.

I never had mufflers.
The new owner had Billy Andrews install them. I have never heard the car since. How does it sound. I am not a fan of mufflers. The original Shelby pipes back in the beginning took about 65HP off the dyno numbers so for me open was a no brainer.
Billy farms out his pipes to Kooks Header shop. I have no idea what they use.

It is loud and mean sounding. When they fire it up in the building, you can't hardly talk on the phone. It will quickly fill the bldg with the smell of 110 octane exhaust. sweet!

As Rick Parker will tell ya, we've been watching this come along for over a year...going to be sweet for us. This Valley is a car racing mecca...and we need a track that can offer a venue for so many forms of racing.

Jamo, Jamo, Jamo. There you go again, being all optomistic and everything, while all the time forgetting where you live. Dude, it's still California. They'll build it, it'll become popular, Speed TV will run remotes three times a week from the facility...

... houses will be built around the complex. The people who buy the houses will complain about the noise. They'll elect some liberal state house reps. Next thing you know they'll have passed a law that "allows" only 500 racecars in the state.

Hurry and get your number now!

Actually I hope the best for 'em. It would be yet another destination for folks visiting California.

FLAK!!!!

...... I couldn't resist. I was drawn to it like a fly to paper.

Man I look forward to unbolting the sidepipes on my ERA and putting the "shorty" extensions on that come with the car. Dyno specs indicate a 100 h.p. loss from the side pipes to the shortys!

Ernie
