Default Chrome shop needed in Southern California

Does anybody have any recommendations for a chrome shop that is experienced with Cobra side pipes in Southern California( LA - Ventura). Also, I spoke to a guy at last year's Knottsberry Farm Kit Car show about chroming side pipes and how to prevent the pipes from bluing from heat. He said something like "tell the chrome shop to use nickel unerplate instead of copper". I was just wondering if anybody knows anything about this, or any other technique to reduce the pipes from turning blue from heat.

Tom
Talk to:
Atlas Plating and Polishing
701 Del Norte Blvd, Suite 315
Oxnard, CA 93030
805.983.2988

They have done all my plating but not on the pipes. They said they do 18 wheeler systems so I would assume they know the heat problem. Mine don't need replating yet however, they were the ones I was going to take them to.

Thanks John. I've used Atlas on smaller stuff, I'll give them a call. See you Saturday at Hudson's. Tom
