Default Ebay Again CSX Car

Same question as posted previously....

Why do people go throught the expense and effort to build what they consider their dream, paint it their personal preference color which in this case is ORANGE and expect to get any where near what the have invested in it after driving only 10 miles? Where those 10 miles at Daytona or Charlotte?

Because they like orange perhaps?

What color would you recommend so they get every dime they possibly can get out of the car when they pawn it on someone else?

Maybe someone should do an analysis of what color sells the best. It would be interesting.

Bored people with more money than they need will do such things. My guess is the guy who had that car built is either
a) dead
b) trying to sell all his assets to dig out of legal/financial trouble
c) one who lived beyond his means when the dough was rolling in and now the well is dry
d) a rich pansy who had never driven a Cobra in his life, ordered what he heard was the baddest car ever, and crapped his pants after 10 miles.

I'm going with d, considering the pearl white Caddy Sport Utility Piece O' Crap with the 20" rap star rims in the background.

Just my two cents.

You see that with a lot of other big ticket items also, not just Cobras.

When I was motorcycle shopping I was blown away how many "used" (virtually new) bikes had only a few hundred miles on them. Boats are like that too, hardly used by some.

Or maybe the guy likes directing the build? THAT alone is pretty cool, maybe he'll build another?

It's tough to say, some of us get bored real easy.

Orange over black? Maybe some Harley Davidson influence...?

Default Perky butt ugly!

Anything with this kind of rump can't talk about others - butt ugly! It's either a case of small wheels or oversize wheel wells. Maybe it's a 4-wheel drive model.

Personal preference??? He possibly likes orange.. It's his car??

Plus, it's not like it's a real Cobra or something. Just a replica....

Maybe its me, but I noticed the rear wheel wells and rear end didn't really look like a Shelby. It may be because of the 17 in wheels throwing off the look, but Ebay cobra purchasing has been shakey lately.

Default Car

It appears to be Fiberglass. A lot of people seemed to be selling the cars from this "Renouned dealer" Why?

Question Aren't ALL CSX4000's Glass?

One thing for sure, it's the tire/wheel combo (17") that doesn't fit the car.

It does seem to be a Shelby CSX car, and being built by HRE gives it a nice predigree.

WHAT were they thinking when they let the guy buy 17" wheels???

Ernie

I don't think the orange is that bad. I think it falls into that category of I wouldn't want it on my car, but it's kind of interesitng to look at on someone else's car. I have seen much uglier colors.
