Knott's roll call here......
Who's going to Knott's this weekend?
I'll be there around 1pm on Saturday (have an earlier Little League coaching commitment).
I'm not "officially" registered for this event. I wrote a couple e-mails to some people (on the event link from Knott's theme park web page) last week and have not heard any responses. Can I just drive up and be directed to the display area, or are they going to make me park with the crowds? If it's the latter, I'm just going to turn around and head back home.

I've been a couple times but don't think I'll attend this year. I'll try to direct my energies toward "my" car so that I can attend all events next year

Deano I'm pretty sure you can register when you get there to park in the display area.

I am registered, and will be there on Saturday. Look for me and my Cobra near the TRIGO Wheels display.

I'll be there with my unpainted Shell Valley. I'll be with the SV group (D1-D7) if space allows.

Knotts Show
I had a blast, meeting old friends, "BS"ing, bench raced a little too. Dave, unpainted or not, yous is gonna be awsum. The folks a SV build a very nice product.
I ended my day at the show by driving my '73 Jensen Healey up and down the isles of the show. Often drawing a small crowd with questions like... "Whatz dat?", "is dat a kit car" and... "where can I get one". Most of these folks weren't born yet when it was new.
There were more Cobra Daytona Coupes at the show than we ever made in the 60's. LOL they looked pretty nice too.
Love ya all, Be Well. Jim

Mike,
You probably didn't find my car because.....we were probably gone by then!
After being there about 2 hours and checking everything out, and having forgotten some folding chairs (Doh!!!), my neighbor and I headed back. But we took the 100 mile route back home by cutting through some valleys and making our way down to Dana Point. Then we headed northwest up Pacific Coast Highway all the way to Newport Beach before heading northeast back to North Orange County and Yorba Linda. Oh yeah, we did make one beverage stop at Cook's Corner, a popular biker hang-out deep in the OC outback. Bikers dig Cobras, too!
I was amazed at the event turnout, especially the number of Lamborghini Diablo replicas. Wow! If I find a $100,000 lying around I'll add one of those to the stable.
Nice meeting you....keep the shiny side up!
