Question BDR Opinions

I have decided to go with Backdraft Racing for my Cobra.
Do any of you have opinions, good or bad, on BDR? I will most likely be dropping a 392 Stroker with a monster cam into it backed by a centerforce clutch and a Richmond 5 speed.

I like mine. I would do a few things different, but as a whole I'm extremely satisified with the product. have you decided on whether you will get the M3 upgrade? good luck with your car. I hope to get mine to the track soon. I've had a few bugs to work out but I really like my car.

Mike congrats on your decision. I made mine 2 years ago when BDR was new on the seen and unknown. They have come along way in 2 years and are just getting better and more popular.

I just got back from a ride to my new restaurant and smoked some jap bikes from light to light. It felt great.

I have a worked 302 in mine, but that 392 is an awesome motor for these cars. The performance and reliability is just fantastic

And you could not be dealing with a nicer and more proffesional group of people. Reg, Tony & Frank take this hobby to the next level.

All I can say is don't look back because your going to fast into the future.

Forever "BDR" Bitten

I talked to Reg this weekend at Carlisle and asked a few questions, he was very professional, he even fired up the turnkey he had sitting there for me when I asked how loud it was (I want a loud one ) These are the options I am considering getting: 1) Passenger Seat Slider 2) Ceramic coated headers and sidepipes 3) Dual external Fans 4) Knock off rims 5) Polished Spinners 6) Sport suspension (still have questions about this) 7) Chrome Fire extinguisher 8) Raydot Mirror 9) Exhaust heat shields 10) Soft top

Mike,

Ditto on Frank,Reg and the crew. They are great people to work with. I got coated headers but stayed with stainless steel side pipes, no regrets. I also got 17" full polished wheels. They look great. By all means get the side pipe shields. Even after a good ride you can put your hand on them and they are just warm to the touch. No snake bites.

Default BDR

Drove mine to a show last nite, Im very pleased overall . I have aFMS 392 which has a great sound and plenty of power. Car needs more gear ( no matter what they tell ya) unless you can drive 80-90 mph on highway where you live. My 5th gear is useless , have them put a set of 3.55-3.73 gears in the car. Also have them put FMS starter in your car instead of brand X Overall I love my BDR just need to get a couple small bugs out, you cant beat it for the $$$
