Was surprised this was available, since everything here in California seems to have already been taken.

As I move along with my current project, I was thinking of:

4U2 NV

This would be on my 65 GT40.

Opinions?

There's a guy in town here with a similar plate on his little tuner car. I want to smack him every time I see him. NV what? Too snooty. Just my opinion.

I tried a number of different combinations when I thought of these, Had the B&B (white) first, then bought the Backdraft a few years later.

Got "BADASP" on mine. DMV wasn't sure if it was vulgar or not. Had to explain what an ASP was.

Before California recently added the 1963-1969 yellow on black plates to the "year of manufacture" program, you couldn't retrofit the classic 60's style plates onto a vehicle. So one trick was to get one of the CA special plates that has a logo, and let CA assign a letter/number sequence to you, don't ask for a vanity plate, and CA would assign 3 letters followed by 3 numbers, just like what was used in the 60's. Then, quite some time ago, CA allowed the use of reproduction plates, so I had the sequence from my UCLA plates made with the 60's style dies. Now that I recently bought a CSX4000 car, I will register it with the UCLA plates, but run the yellow on black plates on the car. Apologies for the shadows in the picture.

Default Cool Cobra tags

Here's my new tag. Not what I wanted but I was limited to 5 characters on an antique plate.

I cant believe you get 8 letters/numbers. You get alot of choices with that many. Anything with SNAKE is cool. I got 65VENOM, not my first choice but the best ones are taken. I just picked up a 1990 wagon and ordered vanity plates online and I think I may of got GRIZWLD, lmao but I wish I had a 8 letter option

I could switch to FSTRNU or WNTRSKS if I wanna go through the hassle. The winter reference comes from being in the snowiest city in America.

I think I will keep it as is for a bit.
