These are not FFR pipes. They came from Kooks Custom Headers and were supposed to be an improvement over the FFR pipes.

Thanks for the information. Tennessee is lots closer to Arkansas thn North Dakota.

How much power could you gain if they were tuned lenght headers?

I finally got my Backdraft from the shop. I had the flanges (old BDRs had slip fit pipes) added and the headers recoated. Looks great. I had the 3" ID Stainless specialities mufflers welded in. Great pipes and sound. The old BDR mufflers had a baffle with two small pipes. I tried to take a picture but it didn't come out. The Backdraft boys website has some pics posted by an owner putting new mufflers on that shows how restrictive the old pipes are. Not sure when they changed to the straight thru pipes. I tried to load a video but couldn't figured how to do it.

Very happy with the new mufflers. A deeper throater sound. Not obnoxious. Rpatton3, i could try to send you the video if you PM me your email address if you are interested.
