In the 1990 years, my husband and myself, before being hired on regular commercial airlines bought this Lear23 and created a small business to transport VIP in the Lear. This has been successfull enough to pay the Lear23 but the new noise rules and navigation capabilities (RVSM) required to fly commercially the Lear23 lead us to give up this really exciting flying machine. And the Learjet with its straight flux engine was a huge fuel eater.
But those were the happiest and most exciting days of my flying time.
