What brake pedal assembly can I use in my cobra?
I have a antique and collectable 427 cobra and I am looking for a simple bolt in brake pedal with master cylinder and booster. I have a c-6 tranny so I won't be needing a clutch.

Shell Valley cobras sells pedal assemblies, I think they have them for both auto and standard, they bolt to the fire wall, I used Wilwood master cylinders with the remote tanks, I don't know how your foot well is built so you will have to gage for yourself if they will work

Vincent:
You can go to the Forum on Antique and Collectibles on this site and ask owners their advice on your build. Everyone there is very helpful.
Suggest calling on going online to Pete Clark at www.fasttimescobras.com.
Pete made my pedal assembly but it has a clutch pedal, don't see why you can't use same box and leave the clutch pedal off. You never know you may want to switch to a clutch later on.

Vincent, if your Cobra is "antique" that must mean it was built before the replica Cobra market expanded to its current size. Which also must mean it had to have been built by one of the very few firms building reproductions back in the early '80's or before. Why not indicate who built it (if you know) and go with them, assuming they are still around?

Please forgive my ignorance. I had no idea someone named their replica Cobra company so that an owner can say their Cobra was Antique and Collectable.
How far away are we from the "Genuine/ Original/ Real Cobra" Company?

Antique & Collectible Autos, Inc.,
Not Collectable
Check out their website at www.acautos.com and www.acrods.com ,they make some of the "Best" fiberglass bodies available and they just don't have one body or car style.
Expand your knowledge and don't be so tunnel visioned.
We all can not be as fortunate as some to have an "Original".

I don't think commenting on the humor of the name is being tunnel-visioned. Too bad you do.
