Default Can anyone ID these brake calipers?

Can anyone identify the make of these calipers? Any info on them would be appreciated. They're on the rear of my Jag rear suspended Contemporary. I'm told that the stock rear calipers on a Jag are Dunlop units. These are clearly not the same as the Dunlops on the front of the car. Are these units capable of decent performance? Is there large braking performance gains to be made by replacing them? Any info on these would be appreciated. Thanks. By the way, sorry the picture is so small - how do I make it bigger?
Doug

Aren't those Girlings?

Typical original Jag calipers I believe.

That would appear to be them. So what's the deal with these things? Are they half way decent performance wise, or are they junk?

Girling, and they work pretty well and have lotts of high performance pad options available.

If your going to spend money improving the brakes, put good pads in there and concentrate on improving the front brakes.

Yetiman’s right!

Nothing junk about these calipers. Good stuff from the early 70s. Performance pads will help, as would keeping the caliper, pads & rotor cool. Unfortunately, getting airflow to the inboard position of a Cobra can prove challenging. A rebuild would help
