Name of new Ford red?

What color is the new bright red from Ford on the Shelby mustang and the GT40? I am ready for paint and I need to pick a red for my RCR 40. I am using Wimbleton White with black pinstripes and I need a great red to set it off!

Ford has two reds on the 2007 Mustang , TORCH red and REDFIRE red . However, TORCH RED is the only red offered on the Shelby GT Mustangs .

Go to your local Ford dealer and confirm that red is the one you want , and their body shop can give you the color codes for any auto paint supplier to mix a matching color .

If they don't have a car in stock that color, they will have color chips to review . Seeing the color on a car is preferable though vs a small color swatch. Bill.

Ford Torch Red

Ford color I.D. D3 Also used on 2007 Ranger pickups. Any paint supplier can mix it with the "D3" code.
