Outstanding Customer Service Experience!
Well, it's been a long road, but it's coming together. I had taken delivery of my car a few weeks ago, but I quickly became overwhelmed with the number of repairs it needed from items that were not done correctly by the engine installer.
As I spoke with the Kirkhams about the 40 + issues I had encountered and as we discussed possible fixes, David graciously suggested taking the car back to repairs of all of items on my list at no charge!
I quickly took him up on it. After a few weeks, I received my car back and WOW! All of the repairs were done and done to an exceptional level! And for those of you who may know me around here, you know that I can be difficult to please, as I am a perfectionist. . . But the Kirkhams fixed everything perfectly, you should see the way the oil hoses were run, the way some of the wiring was rerouted and replaced. . . it's like art work.
While the car was there, I paid them to change the ghost brushed stripes to polished stripes, since the ghost stripes tend to fade away. I also paid them to re-brush the whole car due to numerous marks on it from the drive train installation. Well, my friends, that was entirely worth it. The car came home looking like a show car!! It looks so incredible! I can’t get over it. I will have new pictures on my website tomorrow, if the weather cooperates. And I love the new polished stripes!
During the process, I kept in contact with their shop foreman, Jeremy, who was also outstanding as he kept me updated on all of the details of each repair and even fixed other problems that I had missed. I am very well impressed with the Kirkhams and how they back their product, even when problems are not even caused by them. Wow!
I know it doesn't fit everyone's budget, but if you are on the fence about buying a Kirkham, jump off that fence and buy one! For me it's was a big stretch of my budget, but well worthwhile. . . What a great group.
David, Thomas, Steven, Mary, Jeremy, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
You have a very satisfied customer in me!

Rob, you need some photos of your car in your gallery or I don't believe you have one.

Congratulations
I know it's been a long endeavor for you. Glad to hear that you've finally got your car, and it's just how you want it.
I've only ever heard good things about the Kirkhams--just another example of them delighting their customers.
Now get out and drive that thing!

A Kirkham is still on my wish list at some juncture. In addition to the obvious quality of the product - I don't think I've ever read an unkind word about the Brothers Kirkham on these pages.
Nice to hear good reports like this.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! It has been a long road.
I took a 50 mile cruise today after I finished detailing the car (you know, the unseen stuff, frame, engine bay, trunk, etc. . .) It was so satisfying, just like a dream come true. To me, this is what it is all about.
When I was getting gas, a guy walked up and said, "wow, it's nice to see the real thing rather than another kit" To which I replied, "what makes you think this is not a kit?" Then I explained to him what it was. . .
It was a great ride! My son loved it! (and believe it or not, fell asleep)

Aren't the kids funny! I have had mine fall asleep in a boat and the plow truck while plowing. Sometimes I wish they still did that ;-) That's great the family toy is on the road. Ooh ooh my turn to ride with Dad, what an incentive!
