Send me your email address via PM and I'll send you some pictures of an original tank. I believe the first three of them were all a little different though. I could be wrong.

The cost doesn't justify the means, Im afraid. If the car was going to be seriously tracked that would be another story. I will probably just put in the oil filler tube to an oil tank and call it close enough. Thanks for the link xracer.

John, Look forward to seeing some updated shots of the whole car with the new windscreen!

What kind of fasteners were used to attach the windscreen?

I suspect an original would have been riveted on, though I don't know for sure. I'd probably use SS button-head screws in case you need to remove it for registration.

Well, the car will be transported to Kris Kincaid's place in Nevada for the final prep work next week. He's done so many nearly original cars that it seems like the logical thing to do. I don't have much hair left and I'd like to keep what's left for a little while longer. People here are re-inventing the wheel and Kris will have to un-reinvent a couple things. The headers and side pipes from O'Rourke just aren't fitting properly. Go Kris.....

There is a different adapter made that's not NPT on the male side. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

We finally got the carbon car fired up last night. WILD. My neighbors will not be happy with me. It makes my old Hi Tech's 428 sound like a popcorn popper.:) The builder wanted the oil pressure to be up around 100 lbs which kind of amazes some of my knowledgeable friends. I'm afraid the Mocal cooler could split a tube. Any ideas?

John, Maybe you could do a video for us of an upcoming startup with "the sound" nice and loud.
