Very cool guys, thanks!

Another question, earlier in this thread is a photo of an aluminum 4HU differential. Anybody know more about it and where it came from?

For those interested, I have both seen and actually driven John's (Double Ugly) Roger Bolick car. To say it is awesome is an understatement. It's just an incredibly beautiful car. The attention to detail is like nothing else. There is no Shelby or Kirkham produced vehicle available today that replicates an original as closely as these do, with the exception, of course, of the body material. It's an amazingly accurate car. And yes, you read that right, John let me drive it!

( I hope you are well, John!)

Larry, If you're talking about the Salisbury diff, he made a replica casting and cast his own diffs. with Dana 44 gears and Spicer joints. A work of art.

Yep. that's it. I saw that diff and started drooling! I may have to talk to him sometime about it. Thanks John.

BTW, are you going to be at the Christmas get together this year?

Should be there. Has a place been selected? I haven't been on the forum much lately.

Larry:
1. Pick your tounge up off the floor,
2. put it back in your mouth, and
3. finish your Hurricane!

Oh I'm working on it Matt. Having rear brake issues but getting them worked out.
Just thinking down the road for my next project.

John, I think the get together will be at the same place but I don't remember the date. I'll make sure I'll get the info to you when I get it.

I know it looks like a great car but to compare it to a kirkham car , I dont think so, the brake lines look like ray charles installed them, very poor, just my 2 cents.

Ever seen the brake lines on an original?

They look almost exactly like the brake lines on my Kirkham did.

Looks like a fantastic car, but he's been doing these for a few years now and there is not bonafide way to check out this stuff or get in touch with him? I'm not sure if that would make a potential car/components buyer feel very assured.

Sure looks nice, though.

I think he's in process of getting the business up and running. Good things come to those who wait you know.

That's pretty funny. He might have set a record with that introduction.

Yea he's lucky - with that remark he definitely broke into the 9's on his first pass without passing tech. If this were a dragstrip, the officials would surely have escorted his arse out.

Hi Double Ugly; My name is Justin O'Rourke and I supplied the headers and sidepipes to Roger for your Cobra. You wrote that you had to send the car to Kris as the exhaust system did not fit properly. After reading your comment last night, I e-mailed Roger to see what the problem was. Roger told me that as always, the exhaust system fit perfectly and ordered more. I am a bit confused and would like it if you could take the time to explain the problem. Regards, Justin

Justin, they fit perfectly when installed on the proper side. I didn't send the car to Kris after he convinced the guy doing the install that he was F...ked up.
