I know you guys like this stuff, so here's some info on an 07 GT500 I just did for a customer....
Car baselined at 411rwhp. The car was bone stock, except for long tube headers and high flow cats. Unfortunately, exhaust does nothing for these cars, and it actually hurt the power a bit, as these cars usually baseline about 430-440.
I added a carbon fiber intake/MAF system, and a 2.6 blower pulley. Threw it on the dyno and tuned it.
The car went from 411rwhp/411rwtq, to 541rwhp/532rwtq. That's a gain of
130 hp and
120 tq to the
WHEELS. From a pulley, intake and tune. I can't think of any other car in the world that can gain 130hp to the wheels for $1000 in parts.
And on the street, this car is an absolute blast. A super torque monster ready to pull against anything it comes across. It may be 4000+ lbs, but who cares when you make 530 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels.
I can honestly say, this car totally lives up to what the original GT-500 was; a heavy, torque happy, stoplight brute.
Here's the before and after on the dyno:
