Wanted ,Title for Shelby

Ohhh, I see now. This is the original car, and at some point, someone decided to swap the drivetrain to another car, along with this car's VIN and title.

I still don't see the big deal, it's just a parts car anyway.

The big deal is somewhere out there is a plain jane 68 Mustang convertiable with a VIN and title of another car attached to it.......Whether the VIN/title was from a Shelby or another plane jane mustang really makes NO difference in the eyes of the law........Switching VIN numbers and titles from one car to another is against the law in all 50 states.........There are a number of folks in Angola (Louisiana state penetentry) that have done the exact same thing, I happen to know a couple of them.......One did time in a federal prison, cause he was taking the cars to Nevada and selling them there, crossing state lines doing this makes it a federal offence...... he got 5 years.........

Who ever ends up with the "e-bay" car has an original Shelby, the VIN is marked in more than one place on cars.....Buying,selling or even possesing a car with a VIN that has been removed or even altered is also against the law.......I can put you in touch with a few folks that can attest to that fact also.........they too are in jail.......

Case in point; at the 35th MCA bash at Barber Motorsports Park,Unique Performance had a display of the continuation GT-350s , I was looking over one and noticed the original T- code VIN (6-cylinder Mustang), was told they could affix the Shelby VIN/numbers to these cars, but the car had to retain it's original VIN to be legally sold and registered and they were following the law to the letter..........
