Marksville? is that anywhere by Lafayette? I have an apartment in Church Point, a house in West Monroe and I travel to Houma & Fourchon all the time. I spend half my time here and half in AZ...its a long commute

I'm about an hour and fifteen minutes north of Lafayette, southeast of Alexandria....My work takes me to Ville Platte, Opelousas, and sometimes Church Point......Go thru Houma a couple of times a year on my way to Dulac to go fishing in the marsh as well as fishing out of Cypermore Point, was there this past weekend, but too much south wind and rough seas............
I bought my first 65 Mustang Fastback from a guy in West Monroe around 1990 and a bunch of parts since then from an old guy that has a little Mustang junkyard there......
Maybe we'll run across each other one day down here, who knows, it's a small world........and as my "new best friend" I'll let you buy the first beer...  
Yes, I would think commuting to Az. would be a "ride".......
