Solid Mounts

I also use solid motor mounts and a urethane trans mount. I want to eliminate driveline movement without turning the engine and trans assembly into a stressed member. The logic is that with all the flex in a Cobra chassis, a solid trans mount that's matched to solid motor mounts will place loads on the trans case that it wasn't designed to handle.

I also use solid motor mounts and a poly mount for the gearbox.

Soild mounts for 8 seasons and would not change it for reasons stated above . But I always heard never use solid/solid.
Tranny mount should be rubber or poly or you can crack your tranny housing.
You may want to check with Moroso,Jegs or Summit on this issue.
