monterey races
Did anyone go to Monetery this weekend? It was good as always. Not too many replicas in the corral parking but quite a few originals in the pits. Superformance had their new Daytona's in the Roush area along with some 427 cars. Good time but a little dusty. Can't wait to go next year again. Bruce

I was there, to me it was the same old stuff. I did get to hang out with the BMW guys- They know how to do it! They must have one of the nicest spots on the track-great bunch of guys as well.
I think Morgan's car was the nicest car in the lot. I only saw one BB Cobra in the pits an absolute gorgas Dark,Dark blue semi-street car- it was real but not sure if it wasn't a Kirkham. http://altuseng.com/EbayPictures/smcobra.jpg |

There is always next year for me. Last week when you mentioned the flagroom in a post-I went right to it and while I was getting my CC out the last ticket was gone. This year I asked my BMW friends if they had a spare corral pass for parking- They said sure but I had to earn it. They put my car in an exhibit next to a Lamborghini made M1. I had alot of fun- they are great guys and have an outstanding club.
