E-Mail Notifications

Anyone else having a problem not getting them? I got mine ok yesterday and had four this morning, but they stopped some time last night. There have been several posts to threads that I am subscribed to this morning and I get no notification so I tried sending myself a PM and it never sent me a notification that I had one. EDIT: Just tried sending myself an e-mail from here and it never got through either. Still getting notifications from other sites so my e-mail is ok. I also checked in my CP to be sure it was still set to send them. Ron :confused: |
haven't gotten any, either. went to my cp to reset stuff- sometimes things 'fall off' during crashes. So... we'll see! I don't think I got any yesterday, either! :eek:

Mail service on the server probably needs a jump start after the repairs. |
I have not had one e-mail from CC since it went back online.

Hmmm...Strange. I have restarted the mail server a couple times since. I'm going to have to investigate more. I know it's at least sort of working, as I personally have gotten them, so it must not be relaying them appropriately. Hang in there.

When you first got the site back on line I was getting them. Then they quit. Last night I received two and when I went to the Forums, there were 6 threads that had been posted to in which I am active and I haven't received any since the two yesterday evening. EDIT: Brent, mine was working great the first day and then completely quit. Now I get about two a day and I just had replies in three threads that I am posting in and no notification from any of them. I have checked my CP, but you might look at it to see if I missed anything. What I don't understand is why it worked great the first day and then just quit as if it had been shut off. I am getting a few notifications now but not all. From what I could count this morning I got around half of the notifications that I should have. Ten threads that I am in were posted to and I received 4 notifications. Strange that when we first went back to the site, I was receiving them all and then none and now about half. EDIT: Ok I tried twice sending myself an E-Mail through the club and also two PMs and neither gave me any notification. Warren posted to the Chat thread a few minutes ago and I never received a notification of that. The last one that I recieved was dated as 10.56PM yesterday if I remember the correct time. Mine have stopped completely and I have gone through all of my filters and blocked addresses just in case and it isn't in there. Mine worked great the first day then started just getting intermittent, and now has completely stopped. I can't even send myself an e-mail through the club. And I see there have been replies to about 7 threads I am in. Ron :confused: |
TTT. Still no notifications or e-mail through the club and I have checked all of my filters and blocked addresses, so it isn't my e-mail program. What is confusing is that it worked great then first day we were back on the old servers and then just quit. Then I got a few one night and no more since.

Brent, I am not sure what happened this morning but I always stay logged on and when I went to log on this morning it started like normal and then gave me a message about lost password recovery form. I went back and cleaned everything out and tried again and it went right in. So that was probably a fluke, but I am still getting no e-mail notifications nor can I send an e-mail through the club.
