The Charity issues with Carroll Shelby have nothing to do with THIS thread, however, since you dug it up...
It has been discussed at length recently here on Club Cobra. The above linked article is very miss leading. After reviewing the long term plans of Shelbys charity I am confident it is on the right track and I personally support it. NOT because I'm a Shelby fan, but because after so many years of trying to do the right thing, they finally have the money, resources and support to allow the charity to do some good work, now and on into the future.
The charity assests are largely held in the form of original Cobras. That would make it appear there is a LOT of money available, but not unless you SELL the cars!
