My point was that neither COXs or COB ever saw SAI in the US. They were finished by AC and had AC badges. AC's supplied the bodies for the CSXs to SAI and CSXs wore Cobra badges.

Kirkhams that are not Shelbys never see SAI and do not wear Cobra badges from the Kirkham factory. Kirkham like AC also supplies SAI with bodies and chasis ala' AC in the 60 for Shelby Cobras.

Thats my point.

Evan,

At the same time, your car never saw the original California Shelby factory floor as it was produced just a "few" years later than an original. My advice is to sell your Shelby and buy a Kirkham. It will still be listed in the Shelby registry (ah the prestige of it all), and you'll have enough spare change left over for that FFR Spec Racer you always wanted.

Im sure Shelbys given his blessing to adding Kirkham to the registry, and at the end of the day, thats what counts.
Thats the reason they are in the registry, the SAAC boys wanted to piss CS off since he will have his own registry. I am sure the new supplier for the alum bodies will be in it too.
