Point of information....aluminum bodies were never outsourced to AC Cars in the 60's! They (AC CARS Limited) were the original producers of the bodies, frames and all mechanicals except engine and transmission and were shipped to 'ole Shel that way. These were the ORIGINAL ROLLERS fellows, shipped to US awaiting 'heart transplants".
