Maxom, yes you can add a top, I happen to have a new, in box, tan one for sale as well as a set of SPF header bars. the debate about whether you need one or not is silly when your caught in inclement weather or cold. I made a 75 mile run at 43 degrees this past weekend snug as a bug in arug. I'm not sure you even need a heater with a top as we turned it off after 20 minutes or so.All you need are bows and your choice of installer,.
