Unique and Shelby More of the story

Please let it be known that the engines referred to in this article were not built by[b] Shelby Engines in Gardena. All the major parts were bought by Shelby Automobile Co. in Las Vegas and the engines were assembled in Las Vegas.
This article has caused a lot of confusion in the market place and with our present customers who purchased their engines from Shelby Engines and our future customers. I apologize for any inconveinence this may have caused but people don't realize that Shelby Automobiles is a customer of ours and is treated the same as all of our customers.
From a vendor standpoint I have been trying to find out the cause for Unique's engine problems and have not reached a conclusion. We have ideas as to what happened but won't go public with anything until we are absolutely certain as to the cause.
Shelby Engines has built many "period correct" FE engines for our customers and look forward to a long and professional relationship with all of our existing and future customers.
