some people do run drag tires on the street, and even run track events with them. However, while the Hoosier's do have a nice vintage looking tread, most people think the sidewalls, fine for a drag tire, and just too soft and flexible for proper steering feel and control on the street and on the track.
Plus, they may heat up too much for sustained high speed running.
Just an opinion i have heard from others.
all the best...

Thanks for the input Hal! Not sure what I am going to do at this point. Everyone seems to be pretty happy with the Goodyears...maybe that is the way to go despite the DOT rating of the Hoosiers.
Thanks again!

Hey 54... Thanks, the R1's are super tires, had them on my R-Model. Great race tire and handled super on the road. Too bad You can't get them in Cobra sizes. I have 15" 6 pins on my car...

Sorry I can't give you direct feedback on the Quick Times. But I will say that they where made for drag racing while the GY are not so I would imagine that the two sets, if the engineers did their job right, would back to back be very, very different. I do not recommend drag tires of any kind for road courses and the like. I know some folks run them and like them but I still can not recommend them.
Why the Quick Times? Want some thing sticky that can be driven in the rain? If so, the GY and maybe the Avons. But Avons are pricey. Are you concerned about price and not rain? You could try Hoosier TDs (DOT). Sure they are bias but they can be a ball to toss around and don't require a bunch of static camber. Forget any amount of moisture past morning dew though! They also have a DOT race radial but they are very short in 15". Just need track tires? Go to a vintage event and fill the trailer with free slicks? Want something in between but don't care about cost? Grooved slicks like an intermediate tire.
If a tire like the GY BB is what you are looking for, look no further.

I keep hearing that the "Avon's are pricey". I am about to turn over 5000 miles on the odo on a set of Avon's. This includes VERY spirited street miles, 20 or so mid 11. sec 1/4 mile runs, 4 days of tracking at VIR and 3 days of tracking at Run n' Gun (where I placed first in class - road course, big block street.) If you compare performance, price and MILEAGE of all the options, I think the Avons start looking like a pretty darn good deal.

Pricey for some, not for others. Compaired to BFG T/A, astronomical price versus mileage difference. Compaired to GY BB. No big deal. All in the eye of the beholder (Can't wait to get a set!).
