Looking for BBS-style gold "snowflake" rims
Having done a rather extensive rebuild on my Butler----I've decided that I'll try black as the color this time around. Big question is if I can find some of those (old) BBS-style rims with the "snowflake" center sections. One place I seem to see them all the time is on road-racing Porsches. A friend of mine who owns an old 911 has a set with the gold center sections just like the ones I'd like. They'd look great (I think) with the black body. I DO Have a set of Enkies which conform to this goal----but they're kind of beat up---possibly even out-of-round.
Do any of you guys know if there this type of 15" wheel is still being made and marketed? I would really appreciate a heads-up if so. Otherwise, I'm considering having someone rebuild and refinish the Enkies. If anyone knows a good (East Coast) outfit which does that type of work, I'd appreciate a heads-up on that, also.
Thanks for any info,
