New to this forum and need some help

Hello. I recently bought a 1966 Shelby American with a 427.
My questions are:
1. The VIN has a CSX with 4 numbers, then a letter and 3 more numbers. What does the last letter and 3 numbers mean? What would be an approximate value of this car, assuming it is in good condition.
2. I need a radiator over flow tank for a '61-'64 Thunderbird. Anybody have a good source?

Probably that it is not a Shelby American car.

Post the number or at least a pic or two for an accurate answer.

Best source for overflow tanks IMO is eBay. Both new and used show up.

The VIN number is on a Shelby American "tag" on the right inside fender well. I do not have a clear picture at this time. I have found out that this frame was from Shelby and the glass body was one that Shelby "authorized" being built. VIN CSX3058R844. Thank you for your information.
